These days scene kids are going more towards the indie side when it comes to clothes, although some like to wear emo, preppy-ish or even gangsta styles. Most scenesters have a natural flair for finding clothes that suit them
A few current clothing fads are:

• Bright tank-tops & camis
• The tightest skinny jeans they can fit their ass into [sometimes in bright colors like pink, purple, teal etc]; But make sure you don't look like a fashion victim.
  
• Tight-ish Tees
  
• Studded belts
• Animal print
• Cute cartoons on tees; like Hello Kitty, Skelanimals, Zim Invader, Tokidoki, etc. as long as it's cute.
• Band Tees
• Neon-colored tutus on pants
• Destroyed skinny jeans
  
• Optimistic prints like rainbows, unicorns, faeries, etc.

If you're older, you might be more into the glamcore scene for more sophisticated looks. This includes wearing designer clothes like Chanel, D&G, Guess, etc.

Along with your scene clothes, its a good idea to have Converses, Vans, Skate Shoes [DC], Nike Dunks, Flats, etc. If you come across any bright colored shoes, you can grab those too! Formal pumps, low heeled shoes and any kind of boots are also accepted.

Clothes- There are no specific stores for scene clothes, you just go into any store and pick out any "scene-ish" looking stuff. The skate+surf stores are very popular.
Cartoon Tees- Hello Kitty, Skelanimals, Tokidoki and Hottopic has a collection.
Cheaper clothes- If some of the stuff is too expensive for you, you might wanna try the cheaper stores; Wetseal, BlueBanana, Little Black Cherry.
