To scene kids, music is everything, other than myspace and the vitals ;P
While most cults have restricted music genres, scene kids listen to whatever floats their boat, but tend to prefer punk, pop rock/pop punk and hardcore. A few other favourites are electro/techno, synth pop, alternative indie rock, trance, glamour rock, new wave, dance, synth-pop, rapcore, happy hardcore, grindcore, deathcore, riotgrrrl, heavy metal, screemo, ska, alternative hip-hop and a lil' bit of older music from the 70's/80's. Now thats a ton of music, but guess what? There's even more...you gotta discover your own music scene =]
